The big game is almost here. Super Bowl LVIII will take place at the Mercedes Benz Stadium on Sunday, February 3rd. But since most of us here in Atlanta won’t be attending Sunday’s game, I wanted to share with you a few other exciting events taking place around the city.
Super Bowl Experience: An 8-day indoor NFL “theme park” held at the world congress center. Tickets, as well as a detailed list of activities, can be found on the official Super Bowl website.
Super Bowl Live: Six days of free family-friendly events in Centennial Park. Taking place the week leading up the big game and produced by Atlanta’s own Jermaine Dupri, Super Bowl Live will feature a vast array of activities and concerts.
Super Bowl Opening Night: Players and coaches will address the media for the first time at this “kickoff” event. Taking place on Monday, January 28th at State Farm Arena, tickets can be purchased on the Super Bowl website.
Music Fest: State Farm Arena will host three days of concerts – featuring some of the top acts in the music today.
Thursday, January 31 — Ludacris & Friends, Quality Control Presents: Migos, Lil Yachty, & Lil Baby. Plus Metro Boomin + Special Guests, a DJ set by Lil Jon, & more. Friday, February 1 — Aerosmith and Special Guest. bSaturday, February 2 — Bruno Mars and Cardi B
Taste of the NFL: Dozens of famous chefs, popular NFL players, as well as celebrity guests will be in attendance on Saturday, February 2nd for the Taste of the NFL at Cobb Galleria. Raising both awareness and money for hunger relief, tickets can be purchased on the official Taste of the NFL website.
Direct TV Super Saturday Night: Foo Fighters are headlining the Direct TV Super Saturday Night show on February 2nd. Taking place at Atlantic Station, tickets have already sold out for this popular event.
Off the Wall: Led by WonderRoot and the Atlanta Super Bowl Host Committee, Off the Wall is a city-wide initiative that aims to share Atlanta’s civil rights and social justice journey through murals, media, and conversation.
