Often thought of as the official farewell to summer, Labor Day can feel a bit bitter-sweet. But with kids being in school for weeks already and it being two months since our last holiday, I think this Labor Day will be welcomed by all.
And if you’re staying in town this holiday, there are plenty of events and activities to choose from for entertainment. From sports, art, music, food, books and comics – this is a great weekend to experience the variety our metro area offers.

Cirque Du Soleil Presents Corteo: While not a traditional Labor Day event, the Infinite Energy Center in Gwinnett will be hosting Cirque Du Soleil for 7 shows between Wednesday, August 29th and Sunday, September 2nd
