Thankfully, each year Atlanta is offering more and more ‘low-key’ events catered specifically to families. Here are my top 5 family New Year’s Eve celebrations taking place throughout the city!
Medieval Times: The Lawrenceville Medieval Times location will have a New Year’s Eve show open to all ages – making it the perfect spot to celebrate the holiday with older kids. Packages include tours, dinner, music and dancing.
Noon Year’s Eve at Avalon: The Hotel at Avalon is hosting a family-friendly party with live music, face painting, crafts, and a giant balloon drop when the clock strikes noon. Tickets can be purchased on the official event website.
New Year’s Bubble Bash: Children’s Museum of Atlanta never disappoints when it comes to New Year’s Eve celebrations. Described as a dance party with bubble-wrap fireworks, this is the place to be if you have young children. They will be offering two countdowns to ring in 2019 – one at noon and the other at 3:30 pm. Noon Year’s Eve: Celebrate the start of 2019 at Fernbank with Atlanta’s biggest party animals! Activities start at 9 am and include games, music, and an appearance by the Georgia Bubbleman!
